WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for an experienced analyst who will be trusted to manage all data flows involved in getting products from suppliers to customers, for the US and Canada. This responsibility will include but is not limited to, redirecting freight for diverts, cancels, or other data-based movements in Nike’s systems. As our Business Data Analyst, this candidate will be able to effectively perform root cause analysis and solutioning, as well as continuous improvement and trend analysis.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON:
A key aspect of this role will be validating data transmissions for completeness and accuracy. Specific data changes must match where Nike has decided to send products due to consumer needs. Your attention to detail is needed to allow Nike inventory to flow correctly. Additionally, your accuracy in performing these data changes will show a positive audit trail, which is an expectation. The data changes mentioned are a combination of simple and quick tasks. They can also require extensive research and needed analytical breakdown for resolution. There is an opportunity and expectation for process improvements, as well as working within a team to learn more about Nike supply chain for North America.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH:
In this role, you will work with internal and external contacts. The role itself will work within a 3-4 person team, inside a team of 14, inside a team of 30 total members in First Mile Transportation for North America. There will be several different internal departments you will work with for daily tasks, as well as in process improvements.
WHAT YOU BRING:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Economics or related subject area
- 1+ year of experience in transportation, logistics or supply chain
- 2 additional years of experience are required in lieu of a degree
- Basic knowledge of SAP
- Perform routine root cause analysis
- Shares standard technical or nontechnical information with others, may be required to clarify technical information to aid understanding.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Able to effectively meet and exceed timelines
