Duties:– Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the nursing department– Ensure that all nursing staff adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols– Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, including mentoring and training– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans– Monitor patient outcomes and make recommendations for improvement– Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives– Manage staffing levels and schedules to ensure adequate coverage– Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff– Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
Qualifications:– Valid RN license in the state of {location}– Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required– Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
– Must know Medicare and Oasis – Strong knowledge of DRG coding, case management, and venipuncture procedures– Experience with neonatal ventilators, sterile processing, spinal taps, and diagnostic evaluations– Ability to catheterize patients and provide health coaching– Knowledge of toddler care best practices– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills– Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities– Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities
