Job Summary
American Express is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Remote Customer Service Representatives to join our dynamic team. This role involves delivering world-class service by assisting customers with their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently, including billing questions, account management, and transaction disputes.
- Provide detailed information about American Express products and services.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to enhance customer interactions.
- Accurately document customer interactions and transactions.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to address customer needs.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure consistent service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- Proven customer service experience, preferably in a financial services or call center environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with computer applications and ability to navigate multiple systems.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience.
- Experience in a remote working environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with American Express products and services is an advantage.
