SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for representing Tyson Foods as a company committed to excellent products and superior customer satisfaction. This requires coordinating the needs of Tyson Foods customers and consumers with the objectives of the Food Safety & Quality Assurance, Sales, and Marketing departments. This position involves resolving and processing product issues and inquiries received from Foodservice Field Sales, Operators, & Distributors via email and phone.
Other responsibilities include:
- daily monitoring of product issues,
- identifying and reporting crises in written and verbal form to management,
- ensuring continued patronage and good relations with all Tyson customers and consumers.
- researching and developing solutions to customer and consumer problems regarding product changes, clarifying marketing promotions, and coordinating plant resolution to product complaints.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of Customer Service/Public Relations experience preferred.
- Computer Skills: Intermediate computer skills preferred. Experience with Tyson systems would be a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Special Skills: Ability to handle stressful situations problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
- Supervisory: No direct reports.
