(Typist) to join our team on a part-time remote basis. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data in our systems. The ideal candidate will possess excellent typing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
We are seeking a dedicated Data Entry Specialist to join our Reliability team. This role involves meticulous entry and management of P&ID Data into our eMaint CMMS software, ensuring data integrity and supporting the maintenance and reliability of our operations. This position offers a mix of on-site and remote work, starting with an on-site orientation to get acquainted with our team and systems before transitioning to remote work until further notice due to current health guidelines. A return to our office will be required following post-COVID adjustments.

Key Responsibilities

Organize and validate data formats within eMaint.

Align eMaint assets with company’s Piping & Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs).

Conduct data entry with a focus on quality control.

Upload and manage image files in eMaint.

Develop data structure and entry standards.

Extract data for reporting and analyze eMaint system outputs.

Create and maintain Data Entry training materials, including PowerPoint presentations.

Verify and correct existing data entries in eMaint.

Ensure a tidy and secure work environment.

Adhere to safety policies and comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.

Complete all training assignments successfully.

What We’re Looking For

A high school diploma or GED.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Eagerness to learn new database systems, with a preference for experience in CMMS programs like eMaint or SAP PM.

Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with the team and stakeholders.

A fast learner capable of juggling multiple tasks and adapting to changing priorities.

Ability to work remotely with discipline and manage time effectively.

Work Environment & Conditions

This role offers a hybrid work setup, combining remote work with on-site presence at our manufacturing facility as required.

On-site work will be conducted in a shared cubicle environment alongside our Project Lead (Reliability Engineer), fostering a collaborative atmosphere.

A commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly work area and adhering to safety standards is essential.

Physical Requirements

This position requires significant manual dexterity for extended periods of data entry.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must successfully pass drug and background checks.
