Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Lead the recruitment process by sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates. Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
- Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, conducting investigations, and implementing effective conflict resolution strategies.
- HR Administration: Manage HR documentation, including contracts, policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs, coordinate workshops, and support employees in their professional growth.
- Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with inquiries related to health, wellness, and retirement plans.
Required Skills:
- Recruitment Expertise: Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address employee relations issues and implement effective solutions.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Canadian Labor Laws: Familiarity with Canadian labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance in HR practices.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
