This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in application development using any of these programming languages: Java
  • Ideally 3+ years of experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including entitlement and IAM policy. AWS professional certification is preferred
  • Ideally 3+ years of experience with ReactJS , AngularJS, Javascript, HTML 5, CSS
  • Recent hands-on experience working on streaming data applications (Spark Streaming, Kafka, MSK, Kinesis, Omni AI and Flink)
  • Worked with data pipeline open source products (Airflow, Jupyter, Anaconda)
  • Development, deployment & monitoring within large distributed & parallel systems using container technology including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS
  • Experience with Java(JDK8/11) Springboot , Moneta, Hibernate/ JPA, J2EE development experience.
  • Experience in Agile development techniques- Confluence/Jira- Experienced as active member of Scrum team
  • Experience with integrating with SAML / OAuth authentication systems
  • Experience with Java testing frameworks (Junit + Cucumber)
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Database experience (SQL server/ Oracle) with a good understanding of Stored procedures, and trouble shooting performance and data quality issues
  • Strong technical development experience on effectively writing code, code reviews, best practices on configuration management and code refactoring.
  • A delivery focused approach to work and the ability to work without direction
