This is a part time (30 – 35 hours per week), remote position based in the United States. Reporting directly to the CEO

Areas of responsibility include:

  • Billing administration, including working with time sheet application, customer invoicing and coordination.
  • AR Collections and cash management
  • Maintaining company books in QuickBooks
  • Payroll administration through payroll service
  • Accounts Payable administration
  • Financial reporting on a weekly basis
  • Tax compliance (property, sales and income)
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Employee benefits administration and coordination
  • HR administration
  • Other G&A functions as needed
  • Compliance
  • Contract review
  • Insurance administration

About you

Overall, we’re looking for someone who is a proven self-starter, hands-on, capable of working independently and remotely. This person needs to be able to both manage and track a tremendous amount of detail while also providing higher-level strategic focus. You need to be an effective communicator, and comfortable interacting with a variety of roles.

Some specific skills areas you should have:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, MBA a plus

· CPA designation preferred

· 10+ years of experience in financial management with increasing responsibilities for multi-faceted direction and planning

· Outstanding knowledge and understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance and SEC reporting

· Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence and executive presence

· Significant experience working with external auditors, internal controls and compliance-related issues

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent analytical and organizational skills

· Experience in professional services finance

Where you will work

This is a fully remote position based in the United States. You will need to travel occasionally to company meetings. Our corporate headquarters is based in Silicon Valley, but today we operate virtually.

Pay and benefits

$75,000 – $150,000 annual salary
