JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for obtaining orders from new and existing customers for robotic work cells.

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Closing orders to meet each year’s budgeted goal.
  • Qualifies business opportunity for commercial and technical validity.
  • Enter and maintain open opportunities in CRM
  • Provide bookings/revenue forecasts regularly
  • Seek out and attend training to obtain/maintain technology expertise and relevancy necessary to provide expected levels of knowledge to customers and prospects
  • Understand the “Market Price” for our offering and work to get the best price available.
  • Work to get the best payment terms available from each customer.
  • Supports trade shows and seminars.
  • Works inter-regional, inter-market opportunities cooperatively.

Education:

  • Requires an AA technical degree or equivalent

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of five years sales experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Ability to learn and understand customer/prospect machine/process requirements and to be able to communicate details to the Genesis team members

  • Good understanding of computers/software tools (Microsoft Office, etc) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Ability to visit customer and prospect facilities which may include factory environments
