17;re looking for a Senior Manager of Curation, where you’ll lead global third-party platforms, crafting strategies that resonate with our diverse anime community worldwide. Reporting to our Director of Curation, you’ll provide strategic direction, analytical insights, and mentorship to improve content discovery and curation, strengthening the Crunchyroll brand.

Collaborating with partnerships, marketing, and business development, you’ll shape our curation efforts across platforms, refining our vision through analytics. Your expertise in content publishing tools (CMS) will drive partner publishing advancements and internal tool improvements.

  • You will develop and lead curation strategies for our global third-party platform channels aligning with Crunchyroll’s global goals and regional marketing targets.
  • You will build repeatable, scalable curation strategies that excite and engage users, working with teams to ensure the third-party platform curation strategy aligns with global initiatives and seasonal anime releases.
  • You will optimize the third-party consumer experience based on evaluation of data and strong curatorial judgment.
  • You will work with the wider curation team to refine the personalisation experience across the entire Crunchyroll experience – partnering with your peers, Business Development, and Product to test and optimize content discovery and personalisation tactics that stretch beyond third party platforms.
  • You will partner with Analytics to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of your curation strategies.
  • You will collaborate with Marketing to create custom curation strategies and campaigns informed by current regional/global trends and insights.
  • You will work with Business Development and Partner Marketing on deal points, ideation and implementation of exclusive partner executions.
  • You will analyze and communicate performance and insights to partners and leadership

About You

  • 8+ years of experience in content merchandising/curation with a video service or in the media and entertainment industry.
  • You have expertise in knowledge of video streaming models, platforms, and content formats.
  • You are proficient in visual language and content merchandising strategies.
  • You have extensive experience working with content publishing tools (CMS) and providing actionable feedback.
  • You are proficient in content analytics, A/B testing, personalization, and data management tools for data-driven decisions.
  • You are experienced in cross-market collaboration to create unified, region-specific experiences.
  • You have strategic insight into current and future content trends.
  • You are adaptable and organized in time-sensitive environments, and have excellent communication skills.
  • You are familiar with anime, pop culture, and/or current entertainment trends..
