The City of Napa’s Public Works Department is currently seeking a Senior Office Assistant to support the Administrative Division.

The Senior Office Assistant is responsible for various office support duties including reception/customer service, data entry, correspondence with residents, accounts payable, records management, and more which will maximize the services offered by the department. Working from the City Corporation Yard, this position provides senior-level administrative support to our Public Works streets and sidewalk maintenance, electrical, facilities, and fleet maintenance crews.

This recruitment and examination is being conducted to fill one (1) vacancy and may be used to fill future similar full-time vacancies as they occur during the active status of the employment list. The active status of this employment list will be at least six (6) months unless abolished sooner or extended beyond that date in accordance with the Civil Service Rules.
