Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Ledger Function

Product Sales

  • Daily review and reconciliation of management system sales and associated cost of sales, to create daily sales journal spreadsheet to enter into accounting systems
  • Update the daily operational spreadsheet to ensure availability for review by management team

Purchase Ledger Function

  • Daily input of supplier invoices into accounting system
  • Ensure supplier invoices are signed for approval by the correct authorised person
  • Ensure supplier is paid by the required date by way of tracking
  • Review and analyse supplier accounts
  • Inform management when a contract is due to expire or if there is a potential cost increase
  • Review and input credit card statements into accounting system, matching up the receipts
  • Monthly review of expenditure for the MMA’s ensuring accruals and prepayments are accounted for and input into accounting system within 3 business days after the month end
  • Monthly review and input of the depreciation calculation on Fixed Assets
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register
  • New supplier due diligence to be completed and logged.

Banking Function

  • Monthly bank reconciliation of accounts in accounting system
  • Process and manage payments for invoices and expenses
  • Analysis of spending and budgets
  • Produce daily cash position in a timely manner.
