We are Lewes District Citizens Advice, and we are an independent local advice charity.  We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our trustee team in the vital role of Treasurer.

Our vision is to promote a fairer Lewes District, where people have access to free, impartial, and accredited advice and support to enable our community to thrive and flourish. We provide essential advice and advocate for solutions to underlying issues.

About the role

As Treasurer, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including budgets, transactions, and reports. Collaborating with the board and leadership team to develop financial strategies aligned with our vision, preparing, and presenting financial reports during board meetings and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practices, as well as offering guidance and expertise on financial matters to support decision-making.

There will be a full induction to the organisation, all the training and support you need. We encourage applications from those with little or no charity board experience.
