Microsoft Corporation has the following opportunity:Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for digital electronic devices and other digital electronic systems. Researches, designs, develops, or tests architecture and operating parameters. Develops test plans for the preparation and execution of design verification testing.

Analyzes data generated from test results to perform pre/post-silicon verification of operating parameters and performance requirements. Telecommuting permitted less than 50%/week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.

Minimum RequirementsEducation: Master’s or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.

 

Experience: 6 months of experience in designing, implementing, and/or testing computer hardware and/or software. Education or Experience in: SOC; Verilog; RTL; Python; C; and Computer Architecture.

Pay Range and Benefits Information

 

The offered base pay range for this specific position (V6088308.c), in Hillsboro, OR, is $131,070 to $161,070 per year. Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets.

 

Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

 

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
