We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Brooklyn Heights, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of product development, from initial circuit design and product development through final debugging and testing.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create circuit designs for Encoder R&D products and systems, including PCB Circuit Design, buses, EMI, etc.
  • Manage the entire product development lifecycle from conception to product launch and beyond
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical problems
  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation, such as schematics, BOMs, and test plans
  • Perform testing and validation to ensure product quality and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launch and ongoing support

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a product development environment
  • Good to Extensive knowledge of Digital/Analog, Microprocessors, ASIC, communication Protocols (RS-232, RS-485, 12C, SPI, CAN), Document Control, Version Control, Industrial Automation, Encoders, Electric Motors, and Magnetics
  • Designs for EMI Mitigation
  • Proficiency in Embedded C Programming
  • Trouble Shooting and Debugging, Documentation, and Version Control
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
