About the opportunity:

We are working as an internal recruitment partner for our client, a professional and supportive family run construction contractor based in St. Ives, Cambridgeshire.

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are presenting an exciting NEW opportunity for a qualified and experienced Electrician to join their team.

As an Electrician you will be responsible for providing exceptional quality of workmanship across various projects (mainly residential) in Cambridgeshire.

This is a varied role including 1st and 2nd fixes, working on residential property renovations and extensions. You will also support with occasional maintenance projects in commercial buildings including pubs, restaurants, and hotels.

You will pride yourself in ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard, within budget and on schedule.

As our valued and trusted employee, we will keep up to date with the latest training and building regulation amendments.

Requirements

 

Who we are looking for:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

    • To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation must be qualified to NVQ Level 3 & 18th Edition.
    • 2391 – Inspection and Testing certification.
    • Previous experience in a similar role (Proven post apprenticeship experience).
    • Good attention to detail.
    • Ability to work well with others.
    • Strong communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to use your own initiative.
    • Well presented with a positive attitude.
    • Own tools required as these are not provided.
    • Hold full driving licence.

·        Highly competitive salary of £35,000 – £48,000 dependant on skills, knowledge, and experience. (Paid Fortnightly).

·        Monday to Friday working hours with overtime available at weekends.
