Job Description Reporting to the Americas Encoder Product Business Manager, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for sales and sales growth along with introducing new products and providing commercial support for Renishaw’s encoder products with existing and new Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Establish sales plans/targets and manage sales forecast. Execute sales plans and initiatives and adapt where necessary. Ensure sales pipeline is sufficient to support forecast/corporate goals via marketing, exhibitions etc Identify and target strategic customers.

Foster and develop new OEM accounts. Work closely with Technical Sales Specialist(s) to close business and ensure relationships remain in good standing. Utilize existing detailed product presentations and develop new material where required. Provide full commercial support to all Renishaw encoder customers. Contribute to a positive and progressive team environment. Other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications Education and Experience:

Minimum Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical engineering, or experience equivalent. Demonstrated mechanical, electrical and motion systems engineering experience. Sales and Sales Management Education and Experience: Preferred Minimum of 2 years of sales management Understanding of servo feedback loops. Previous experience with a company designing, manufacturing or involved with the installation, setup or selling of motion control systems, encoder systems or motion control controllers. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experienced technical sales management. Demonstrated successful OEM account management and support. Strong communication and presentation skills. Proven ability to interact with internal and external audiences, including customers, in all functions, including but not limited to technical, purchasing and management roles. Manual dexterity with the physical ability to install products in a normal production environment.
