About This Role

We are seeking a Remote Registered Nurse to provide compassionate patient care to our virtual programs. If you are passionate about providing your patients with exemplary care, while being sensitive to their individual psychiatric conditions, you would be a great addition to our team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Nursing assessments
  • Wound care assessments
  • Phone triage
  • Recording patient medical and medication histories
  • Laboratory orders and retrieving results
  • Medical documentation & paperwork
  • Medication and diagnostic/lab prior authorizations
  • Assisting providers with prescription refills
  • Support & assistance to the organization’s committees
  • Support and assistance during remote crisis or emergency situations
  • Infection control & COVID-19 measures
  • Patient education, including leading program groups surrounding health & wellness
  • Supporting the virtual treatment team by assisting with other tasks that promote patient-centered care

Who You Are:

  • Hold a BSN degree (preferred) or LPN
  • Are a Registered Nurse with current licensure to practice in Illinois
  • Are certified in Healthcare Provider CPR
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of Hospital Experience (preferred)
  • Have experience in mental health (preferred)
  • Possess exceptional, therapeutic communication skills
  • Able to remotely perform the responsibilities of this virtual position
  • Familiarity with current technologies, like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook
  • Experience with word-processing software and spreadsheets
  • Excellent phone, email, and instant messaging communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Solid organizational skills
