Within CO+I, the strategic Supply Chain Team is responsible for establishing a supply chain that can meet the ever-growing growth of the Microsoft Cloud and our customers. We support a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-billion, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects and operations of those assets.

As a Senior Global Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the development and maintainence of the global contracts Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including document templates, work processes, and training programs to support our direct action supply chain teams around the globe (e.g., strategy, execution).

Responsibilities

 

  • Maintain the global contract document archive and serve as the knowledge owner for all Global Supply Chain contract work processes and systems.
  • Manage various contract documents and/or internal templates and develop new tools/documents/templates where current gaps exist.
  • Coordinate with the global team, in partnership with a cross-functional team, and focus on driving standardization and productivity through optimization within our overall datacenter portfolio and work habits.
  • Partner with the regional teams to leverage industry best practices to develop the templates and strategy documents.
  • Partner with global stakeholders to drive consistency across the regions.
  • Create standards and processes that are used by the global team for strategy creation/communication, cost optimization, capacity planning, and benchmarking.
  • Leverage end-to-end sourcing expertise to develop processes or tools that can be used by the global supply chain team to resolve escalations and/or execute sourcing strategies.

Qualifications

Required / Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 6+ years experience (including internships) in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations
    • OR Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 5+ years experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations
    • OR equivalent experience.

Other Qualifications

 

  • These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
    • Microsoft Cloud Background Check – This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred / Additional Qualifications

 

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 5+ years experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations
    • OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 6+ years experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience with both U.S. and international construction contract practices.
  • Experience with global engineering, procurement and construction (EPC).
  • Experience in data centers and/or mission-critical facilities.
  • Knowledge of various types of contract methods (e.g., Design, Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, etc.).
  • Familiarity with multiple contract pricing formats (e.g., lump sum, unit price, etc.) and various contractual components (e.g., technical scope, pricing, schedule, etc.).
