Role Overview:
We are looking for an individual who is an adept digital and social media marketer with a particular focus on video content and Youtube.

Your core KPI will be YouTube subscriber growth and YouTube Viewership.

You will be working with 2 well known and respected entrepreneurs who are looking to take this to a whole other level – building a world class team to blow up this category and do something dynamic in the space that feels like it’s not been done before. KeyResponsibilities:Strategy
and Planning:

=Develop and implement audience development, distribution and marketing strategies to promote YouTube Episodes and Audio episodes.
Create and manage a marketing calendar, ensuring timely execution of campaigns.
Conduct market research to identify trends, audience preferences, and competitive landscape.
Call out when individuals or companies go viral elsewhere and whether Secret Leaders should be targeting them.

Host & Guest Distribution
Ensure that the hosts have content ready to be posted across their own personal channels twice a week. Collaborate with their personal brand teams as well as post yourself from the host accounts.
Ensure that guests and hosts are always primed and organised to post multiple clips per episode, often utilising collaborator tags where relevant.

Content Marketing:
Collaborate with hosts and guests to develop compelling promotional materials, including social media posts, newsletters, blog posts, and video content.
Oversee the production and distribution of press releases, media kits, and other promotional materials.
Plan and execute content-driven campaigns to increase viewership and listener engagement and attract new audiences.

Digital Marketing:
Manage and optimise the podcast’s presence across all digital platforms: YouTube shorts, instagram, tik tok, facebook, linkedin and newsletter.
Utilise analytics tools to track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights.

Advertising and Sponsorship:
Identify and pursue advertising and sponsorship opportunities to generate revenue.
Develop and maintain relationships with advertisers and sponsors, negotiating contracts and ensuring deliverables are met in collaboration with the directors.
Monitor and report on the performance of advertising and sponsorship campaigns.

Partnership Management:
Establish and maintain partnerships with relevant distribution channels, including other YouTube channels, influencers, newsletters, and audio shoutouts.
Being proficient at creating shout out trades with other organisation and other shows.
Collaboration
Work closely with the directors and the producer to understand the vision and goals for each project.
Communicate effectively with the team to ensure deadlines are met and any issues are promptly addressed.
Make it easy for the hosts and guests to promote the show.

Logistics:
Working with Producer, hosts and other team members to ensure that the Host and Guest experience is brilliant.

Collaboration:
Work closely with hosts and Jay the producer to ensure that the outcome of the work is 5* quality

Qualifications:
4+ years of experience digital and social marketing with a tangible experience with YouTube and viral video
Incredible writing skills
Strong canva or general design skills

What does a typical day in the role look like:

As the Audience Alchemist and Youtube Distribution Dynamo at Leaders Media Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual character of Secret Leaders. Your expertise and work will be instrumental in distributing the show and growing the subscriber and listener base.

A typical day in this dynamic role will begin with a standup meeting in our office, where you’ll collaborate with the producer to discuss the day’s tasks, review briefs for upcoming videos, brainstorm future video ideas, and address any blockers. This meeting sets the stage for a productive and creative day ahead.

A significant portion of your day will be dedicated to ensuring that the daily content is being created in line with marketing objectives and that all content is going to be optimised for the relevant channel it is being posted on, across the Secret Leaders owned channels but also hosts and guests.

You’ll also identify the most viral moments from the footage and brief compelling short-form content for various social media platforms.

You will be looking at new content and planning how we can distribute that in line with the owned channels, host channels and guest channels as well as looking at older content that can be reinvigorated, recut and re edited to make a guest look incredible and get that shared across all owned channels, host and guest channels (ideally with collaborator tags).

We’ll have a hybrid approach that best suits the team – some days in office with Dan and Chris and the team, others at home where it’s most sensible for you to be in focus mode.
