ABOUT THIS ROLE
As an Advanced Analytics Lead at Audible, you will drive the design, implementation, and delivery of Analytics solutions in a highly ambiguous and significantly complex problem space that will have a long-term impact on the business, organization, and technology. You will deliver solutions that address significantly large or endemic customer and business problems, and directly impact the goals of our Analytics, Marketing, Product and/or Content organizations. In addition, you will raise the bar on already well-developed sets of analytic, economic, scientific and financial frameworks that drive decisions across multiple marketing channels and product surfaces. With a “consulting mindset”, you will influence the organization towards adopting new approaches, concepts, and paradigms.

ABOUT YOU
You are a “doer”, someone that can code at a very good level in SQL and Python, and deliver products or prototypes end-to-end (from conception, to design, to specification, to code, to test, to measurement, to presentation). You connect the dots and understand system inter-dependencies and limitations to build efficient solutions. You have an outstanding business acumen that helps you speak fluently in your business partners’s language, and helps them achieve or surpass their goals. You work fast and deliver reliably against your commitments. You can frame hypotheses, decisions, and assumptions into a testable structure and develop robust experimental designs.

As a Advanced Analytics Lead, you will…
– Partner with data scientists, BIEs and business leaders to understand, conceive, design, code, test, measure and present ground breaking Analytics-, Science- and Data-products that bring Audible to the next stage on its way to a thought-leading, world-class Data-Driven business
– Own some analytics product end-to-end, and contribute to others
– Possess an in-depth knowledge of all relevant data sources, business intelligence technologies, data science and analytical tools – know what’s possible, in which direction to steer, and how to move fast with solutions, adjustments and recommendations
– Communicate verbally or in writing to business customers and leadership to share insights and recommendations
