In this role, you will have overall sales, commercial and operations responsibility of IDEXX’s 70+ corporate and strategic account partnerships, largely with veterinary hospital operators. These operators represent highly strategic partners for IDEXX and the fastest-growing customer segment in veterinary healthcare. You will leverage a matrixed leadership approach with internal and external stakeholders, leading a team of six Account Directors and thirteen Corporate Account Managers responsible for the overall diagnostic growth strategy across aligned enterprise customers.

You will be tasked with developing the overall enterprise customer growth strategy, partnering with the entire IDEXX ecosystem, including finance, operations, individual lines of business, marketing, and more. A deep understanding of consolidation dynamics, private equity, growth levers, and financial acumen is required for success. You’ll coach and develop the Account Director team to leverage deep data and insights to influence and partner with groups’ executive teams, while directly leading high stakes contract negotiations with C-suites often installed directly by private equity sponsors.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • 10+ years of veterinary / animal health or human healthcare experience
  • Management consulting experience a plus
  • Deep understanding of consolidated verticals, enterprise customers, and the private equity landscape
  • 7+ years proven leadership experience
  • Deep enterprise C-suite contract negotiation experience
  • Competence with all elements of an enterprise P&L
  • Dynamic presentation and public speaking skills
  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
