Position Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) for Mental Health and Well-being at Girassol Wellness plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive, holistic care to individuals seeking mental and behavioral health support. The RN will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure that clients receive the highest quality care with the goal of improving their mental health and overall well-being.

Assessment and triage: Conduct initial assessments of clients seeking mental health services, focusing on both their physical and mental health needs. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate care plans.
Medication education: Evaluate medication side effects and educate clients on medication compliance.
Health Education: Provide health education to clients and their families, emphasizing mental wellness and coping strategies, nutrition, and overall physical health and well-being.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with nurses, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement client-centered care plans.
Crisis Intervention: Be prepared to respond to crisis situations and provide emotional support to clients in distress.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough client records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
