Job Responsibilities

  • Write technical documentation for our external and internal developer audience, such as API reference manuals, developer guides, and more
  • Design and organize documentation sets for new APIs and developer products
  • Edit, clarify, and proofread documents written by others
  • Refactor, update and maintain complex documentation sets
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to author and maintain documentation
  • Establish rapport with engineers
  • Read code to help identify documentation needs
  • Write and test code samples
  • Quickly come up to speed on APIs and technologies to be documented

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience creating content for developer audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with machine learning, ML data preparation techniques, building machine learning models, and/or using APIs to interact with LLMs
  • Experience documenting, developing, or using APIs in Python, Java, JavaScript, and C++.
  • Experience writing in HTML or markdown
