Successful candidates will be mentored by top leaders with the opportunity to grow rapidly within the company. As a Benefits Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance to clients on various employee benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other related benefits. Your primary objective will be to assist clients in understanding their options, making informed decisions, and maximizing the value of their benefits offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of client benefits plans to assess their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and objectives regarding employee benefits.
  • Educate clients on different benefit options, including health insurance plans, retirement savings accounts, wellness programs, and more.
  • Analyze and compare various benefit plans to help clients select the most suitable options based on their budget and coverage requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and facilitating enrollment processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to employee benefits to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely advice to clients.
  • Utilize technology platforms and communication tools effectively to conduct virtual meetings, presentations, and consultations with clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Previous experience in benefits consulting, insurance brokerage, human resources, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, voluntary benefits, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Certification in benefits consulting (e.g., Certified Employee Benefit Specialist – CEBS) is a plus.
