Purpose

The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for DELTA STAR’s online marketing efforts driving traffic for DELTA STAR’s website, social media channels, and other online managed destinations. Delivering growth by optimizing online traffic channels including website content, SEO, landing pages, and social media, leveraging the full capabilities of all DELTA STAR’s digital marketing platforms.

Main Responsibilities

• Develops and implements strategic online marketing programs at either campaign or marketing channel levers.
• Stays abreast of changes in the online marketing environment to best serve the objectives of the organization and adjusts plans accordingly.
• Develop and implement effective marketing strategies including tactic selection, audience segmentation/ targeting, ongoing testing and content & creative optimization.

Specific Duties

• Develop marketing calendars and testing schedules to achieve organizational objectives
• Manage the design, customer segmentation, messaging, analytics and test-and-learn strategies for relevant marketing programs or channels.
• Actively benchmark competitors and best of breed marketers and implement improvement recommendations.
• Identify site enhancements needed to increase efficiency and volume of performance from managed marketing programs or channels.
• Perform detailed analysis across programs, campaigns and segments and make actionable recommendations for improvement. Use web analytics to study user behavior and recommend improvements.
• Responsible for social media management (content, deployment, engagement, and measurement)
• Responsible for website development and management (Design & Content).

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communication, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of digital marketing experience.

• Track record of growing online channels.
• Must have a solid background in online marketing as well as an understanding of online best practices and web trend analysis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficient in WordPress.
• Knowledge of and experience managing social media channels.
• Highly developed analytical and excel skills and familiarity with core metrics.
• Exceptional planning and project management skills.
• Outstanding creative and strategic thinking abilities.
• Ability to effectively interact with cross functional teams.
• Strong understanding of business-to-business insights, competitive/business environment and consumer behavior.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to write in a style that is customary for external publications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently on an assignment and meet established deadlines.
• Excellent people skills and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization and manage external relationships.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to take initiative.
• Desire to work outside of boundaries, drive change and foster continuous improvement.
• Ability to speak, write and read French desired.
