The impact you will have:

As a Google Cloud Sr. Presales Specialist at Softchoice, your primary responsibility will be to drive growth within buying accounts and adding new buying. Optimizing Field Margin performance across product and services offerings by empowering our sales organization to succeed in promoting Google Cloud Platform solutions. You will work closely with our sales and technical teams, as well as customers, to develop and deliver compelling GCP solutions that meet their needs.

You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions. As a Google Cloud Sr. Presales Specialist, your mission is to put businesses on the best possible path to a sustainable and ground-breaking future cloud. In doing so, you will unlock new opportunities and overcome technological and business barriers, while delivering a compelling and customized roadmap for digital transformation.

What you’ll do:

  • Sell Google-cloud solutions leading with services to increase utilization of Google Cloud Platform and influenced revenue in your region.
  • Align with Sales Teams and leaders to execute our Go to Market strategy, acquiring new customers and increasing cloud consumption within your region.
  • Build and maintain Market Attack Plan (MAP) for your region.
  • Provide Pre-Sales support through the entire sales process from qualify to close. (Pre-call planning, Pre-sales calls, supporting material, executing deal registration.)
  • Collaborate with Softchoice service and sales teams to design and propose GCP service solutions for customers, aligned to their business goals and outcomes.
  • Accountable for Deal Registrations and deal tracking.
  • Accountable for Pipeline and Forecast updates aligned to your region.
  • Working with internal sales and operations to ensure orders are accurately processed.
  • Drive sales plays, offerings and industry assets/solutions for execution and engagement with our field sales team aligned to your region.
  • Quarterly Enablement/Mentorship with Presales team members.
  • Onboarding buddy for new hires, provide shadowing opportunities and support deal execution during onboarding period.

 

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform, additional knowledge of Similar Public Cloud Providers is an asset.
  • Selling and driving solutions across GCP as well as Professional and Managed Services.
  • Proven ability to communicate cloud concepts and solutions that align with the business objectives and challenges around securely adopting a public cloud strategy, often from an application-centric approach (i.e. which workloads belong where, and why).
  • Demonstrated experience successfully achieving sales targets and KPI’s.
  • Experience proactively managing relationships at all organizational levels and mobilizing stakeholders to execute and meet key deliverables.
  • 5+ years of experience in selling technology solutions in a pure sales or pre-sales role.
  • Experience aligning business outcomes and initiatives with technology requirements.
  • A history of uncovering, developing and driving sales for public cloud replacement of legacy infrastructure environments.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Self-motivated, proactive ability to work as part of a team or independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Google Cloud Digital Leader certificate.
