- Description Physician provides comprehensive, coordinated primary and preventive health care to Company patients
- With Ryan White program, detect for the early intervention services and focus on primary care services
Task Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to:
- – Provide comprehensive primary care for adults
This may include care to children and special populations such as HIV depending on qualifications
- – Serve as a preceptor to residents, medical students and advance practice nursing students
- – Attend monthly provider meetings
- – Remain current with standards of practice
- – Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by Medical Director
- – HIV counseling and testing
- – Monitoring of disease progression
- – Treatment of HIV
- – Diagnosis and treatment of related infections; and – Case management and assistance accessing other Federal, State, and local programs that could provide needed health and support services to people living with HIV/AIDS
Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
– Board certified in family practice or internal medicine
– Current Ohio license to practice medicine
– Valid DEA certificate
– Successful completion of Company credentialing process
Preferred:
– Minimum 2 years-experience in certified field preferred
– Experience in dealing with medically underserved populations preferred
– Experience with applicable public health issues preferred
Technology Requirements:Basic understanding and familiarity with the following:
– EPIC – Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
