JOB TITLE JOB DETAILS:

  • Starting Hourly Pay: $23.49 with multiple pay increases over your first years of service to $30.55 per hour.
  • Superior medical coverage starts the 1st of the month following start date

  • OPERS retirement – The employee contributes 10% of their salary towards their retirement. The employer contributes an amount equal to 14% of the employee’s salary.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates, oversees & processes procurement of all necessary supplies, materials, and equipment Coordinates and works to complete personal service contracts, memorandum of understanding (MOU), and amendment development for the procurement of services
  • Assists in the development and processing of documents for competitive opportunities
  • Reviews requests to purchase for appropriateness & accuracy; enters purchase requisitions in OAKS/OhioBuys
  • Examines, distributes & monitors requisitions, purchase orders & contracts
  • Evaluates vendor compliance with contracts for quality, delivery timelines & merchandise &/or services provided; follows Department of Administrative Services (DAS) & Office of Budget & Management (OBM) policies & procedures for procurement and asset management & ensures DVS complies
  • Provides compliance review for MBE/EDGE set-aside, end of year fiscal activities, reconciling encumbrances, and threshold monitoring.
  • Provides guidance to DVS staff regarding the MBE set aside (e.g., where to find vendors list, requirements for a set aside purchase, etc.); Researches and responds to complex inquiries from vendors, DVS staff, and other government agencies
  • Reviews information for DAS release & permit requests & Controlling Board requests; follows up with additional information when needed; prepares and support requests as directed
