Since 1946, James and Harris CPAs, PA, a full-service CPA firm serving the construction, engineering and architecture industries, has confidently provided a wide range of tax, accounting, audit and advisory services to small to mid-size businesses. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a motivated, self-starting team player with 10+ years of recent public accounting experience to support our accounting engagements from commencement to delivery.

Working directly with clients and all members of our team, you will take a lead role in providing financial statement and remote controller services. In addition, you will demonstrate clear and effective communications in a team-oriented culture and develop and cultivate long-term, professional client relationships.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

· 10+ years of recent public accounting experience (CPA firm).

· CPA license preferred.

· QuickBooks Desktop and Online expertise a must.

· Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.

· Payroll and sales tax experience.

· Resourceful, self-starter with strong communication, client service and PC skills including Microsoft Office and QuickBooks software proficiency.

· Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced team-oriented environment and interact professionally with clients and all levels of our team.
