General Summary

The Customer Service Representative must be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain outstanding customer satisfaction by communicating with our customers and following up to ensure satisfactory resolution. He/she must be a team player with a dedication to providing excellent customer service, follow up, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to emails and phone calls daily assisting dealers with pre-sell support and product information.
  • Manage all customer inquiries ensuring customer expectations are met.
  • Organize customer project requirements and product specifications, including engineering and design drawings; produce and communicate product quotations and documents to facilitate customer sales order processes.
  • Communicates with Davis sales team members when additional assistance is needed.
  • Provide order status information to customers, working with Credit, Engineering, and Manufacturing departments as necessary.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) with great listening skills.
  • Ability to communicate clear, concise information relating to products, processes, and existing order status and issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain positive internal and external working relationships.
  • Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time effectively with a sense of urgency to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Good organization skills with an attention to detail.
  • Learns quickly and retain production information.
  • Excellent computer skills with a strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) and Order Processing systems. Exposure to ERP or CRM systems preferred.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Working hours are Monday – Friday from 8:15 am – 5:00 pm. Must arrive punctually and consistently. Additional hours may be required as needed.
