Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new products using NX, Solidworks, Inventor, and other design tools.
- Employ your knowledge of metal stamping and manufacturing to create efficient, high-quality products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the product design aligns with the company’s customer strategy.
- Use your expertise in tool and die to improve product performance and durability.
- Conduct detailed product testing and analysis to identify potential improvements and ensure product reliability.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure products are designed for manufacturability and assembly.
- Participate in customer meetings and presentations to understand their needs and incorporate them into the product design.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in product design to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in product design engineering, preferred metals (stamping or assembly).
- Proficiency in NX, Solidworks, Inventor, and other design tools.
- Experience with metal stamping and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of tool and die is a must.
- Strong understanding of customer strategy and the ability to incorporate it into product design.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think out of the box.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of designing and developing successful products.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and performance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
