Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner at Aegis Medical Group located in Summerfield, Florida. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for the primary care of patients, prescribing medication, and treating common acute/chronic illnesses like flu, diabetes, hypertension, and more. You will provide health education and further assess and refer patients to other specialists for further treatment as necessary. In addition to patient care, you will maintain accurate medical records, order tests, and manage patient follow-up care.
Qualifications
- Current NP license in the state of Florida
- At least 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in the primary care setting
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
- Strong critical thinking and diagnostic skills
- Strong knowledge of chronic and acute illness management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Electronic health records proficiency
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus
