Overview:
This position involves managing maintenance crews to safely and efficiently carry out their work to meet company and division goals. The maintenance division services hundreds of piers and docks; seasonal launching and storing, as well as, repairs and enhancements. This requires proficiency in communication, scheduling, team leadership, budget management, and logistics. The role of Production Manager is to ensure production is consistent, motive crew members, and be a key role in the business management team.
Position Performance Deliverables:
- Achieve Gross Margin as outlined in budget plan.
- Ensure crews are performing high quality construction work to customer expectation.
- Coach, Develop, and Hold Accountable Direct Reports so that they achieve their performance deliverables.
- Manage the schedule board with Division Manager to achieve customers’ expectations
- Ensure that we complete accurate and timely paperwork.
- Ensure that all assigned vehicles and equipment are in good operating condition and appearance and make certain that they are well cared for by your assigned crews
- Ensure that purchasing is completed so that the projects acquire the necessary materials to the agreed upon standard within budgeted guidelines so that the foreman are set up for success
- Ensure Yard and material inventory are properly staged and remain organized by assigned crews.
