Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conversion and enhancement of existing Business Objects Reports to Microstrategy.
- Implement and enforce semantic layer/metadata using Architect
- Design, development and integration of BI solutions using reporting and analytical process.
- Design and implement solutions with maximized performance /data retrieval
- 5 + years Hands on experience in Microstrategy Developer, Architect, Web, Command Manager, System Manager.
- Manage report security, folder security, database row level /Column level security, report schedules and distribution.
- Design and develop basic and advanced reports, conditional metrics, filters, custom groups, transformations, consolidations, cubes, data marts, and dynamic dashboards with a thorough knowledge base of schema and application object creation, maintenance, and architecture (attributes, facts, logical tables, hierarchies).
- Implement performance tuning of reports/Cubes using VLDB settings.
- Build Statistical Reports using Platform Analytics
- Strong demonstration skills to summarize and interpret large amounts of data into advanced analytics/dashboards.
- Data ware house Experience (involving manipulation/transformation of millions of rows with optimal methods).
- Good SQL &PL/SQL knowledge.
- Good Analytical skills, Debugging and Critical thinking.
