You will be expected to be a key individual contributor on a team that is responsible for shaping and driving Broadcom’s M&A strategy in partnership with executive leadership, business units, and other functional groups. The team sources, negotiates and executes strategic transactions to meet the company’s strategic objectives and drive shareholder value.

Responsibilities
  • Build relationships and collaborate with key internal business, product, sales/GTM, and engineering stakeholders across Broadcom on strategic transactions
  • Work with deal and functional teams in all aspects of the transaction lifecycle, including early opportunity evaluation, business model planning, strategy planning, business case development, due diligence, and execution
  • Own the development of detailed financial analysis and modeling to support and guide thinking on M&A opportunities and to evaluate target and pro forma financial impact
  • Research strategic markets, identify and keep abreast of trends, and translate findings into actionable insights.
Qualifications
Preferred candidates will:
  • Have 10 years of professional work experience in a mix of investment banking, private equity, and/or corporate development roles with prior deal execution experience in enterprise software or semiconductor sectors
  • Be highly organized and motivated, able to solve problems while working well both as part of a team and independently, with a proven track record of communicating effectively with senior management.
  • Apply intellectual rigor and analytical/critical thinking skills to effective problem solving, and have a bias for action.
  • Have deep experience and independent ability to prepare fundamental business models and valuation methodologies (unit economics, multiples-based approaches, DCF) and M&A modeling (three-statement models, accretion/dilution, breakeven synergies, deal financing structures, etc.)
  • Have strong presentation and negotiation skills for internal audiences and external interactions, and the ability to adapt presentations for big picture and in-depth discussions
  • Be able to drive projects and serve as team member for a variety of ad-hoc strategic projects and initiatives
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

\nAdditional Job Description:
\nCompensation and Benefits
\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $123,000 - $205,000.
\nThis position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
