As a Field Access Manager (FAM), you will partner with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate removal of access-related barriers, providing pull-through and issue resolution supporting physicians prescribing IMCIVREE.

 

This role requires a deep understanding of payer dynamics, and you will serve as subject matter expert for access-related challenges, supporting patient services, market access, territory managers, specialty pharmacy partners, and prescribing physicians.

 

You will identify payer trends, educate matrix partners, while executing tactical plans to expedite payer approval. This role is field based, will be responsible for the Southeast territory, and will report into the Director, Patient and Customer Operations.

 

Responsibilities And Duties

 

  • Identify and resolve access-related barriers to support physicians in the payer approval process of IMCIVREE
  • Implement case specific plans based on payer mix, benefit design and authorization requirements
  • Manage the pharmacy benefit approval process from prior authorization through any necessary appeals, providing oversight to specialty pharmacy partners to ensure pull through of insurance approvals
  • Establish trusted relationships with key accounts, delivering education to optimize patient specific access
  • Lead local level access related strategies, develop regional best practices that streamline the prior authorization/appeal process and expedite treatment access
  • Inform strategy through communication of marketplace changes and payer intelligence gained from key customers
  • Meet documentation requirements of CRM system to facilitate tracking of critical metrics
  • Deliver on key objectives established annually and demonstrate accountability for execution and drive for results
  • Ensures full compliance with all corporate and industry policies and legal and regulatory requirements

 

Qualifications and Skills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 6+ years’ experience working within Rare Disease in commercial, with a background in Case Management (access/reimbursement)
  • Demonstrated successful navigation of complex authorization processes for Specialty Medications
  • Results driven
  • Prior product launch experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving
  • Ability to travel within the US (up to 30%)
