ating a framework and processes for managing the Advanced Planning Document (APD) process. This role involves tracking and reporting several APDs to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Framework Development: Design and implement a comprehensive framework for managing the APD process
  • Process Creation: Establish effective processes for the submission, tracking, and reporting of APDs
  • APD Writing: Draft, review, and finalize APDs ensuring they meet CMS requirements and guidelines
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all APD-related processes and procedures
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports to CMS, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all requirements
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with State officials and other stakeholders to ensure smooth APD management
  • Training and Transition: Provide training and support to State personnel for the transition of APD management responsibilities
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in APD process management and APD writing
  • Proven track record of successful APD submissions and management within government or healthcare sectors
  • Strong understanding of CMS requirements and regulations related to APDs
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state healthcare programs
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex documentation processes
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools for tracking, writing, and reporting APDs
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within a short timeframe
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and guide teams in process improvement initiatives
