We have an immediate opening for an enthusiastic, highly organized, team-oriented, Sr. CADD Designer/Graduate Engineer. The ideal candidate for this position will apply their engineering expertise in the daily operational task of preparing plans, specifications, and Estimate (PS&E).
Responsibilities
- Performing various aspects of roadway projects including:
- Geometric design
- Roadway plan and profiles
- Traffic control plans
- Existing and Proposed Utilities Plan and Profile drawings
- Storm water pollution control plans (SW3P)
- Signing and pavement markings
- Conceptualizing the initial design approach for all phases of roadway projects
- Coordinating with project team members to ensure the successful completion of transportation engineering assignments
Required Qualifications
- 1-4 years of experience in the field of Roadway Projects
- Demonstrated proficiency in MicroStation, GEOPAK, and Open Roads Designer
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Project experience applying County, City and TxDOT guidelines
- A strong work ethic and attend to detail
Preferred Experience
- Proficiency in ProjectWise
- EIT Certification
