Job Description:
As a Project Superintendent you will work closely with the Project Architect and construction Project Manager to effectively plan, coordinate and oversee all onsite activities. Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven record of strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and positive subcontractor relations.

Primary Duties:
- Managing the day to day onsite construction activities in accordance to approved plans, budgets and schedule.
- Setting and enforcing safety and quality standards and directing the overall field operations. Assuring quality is of the highest standards and OSHA and all other related safety code compliance.
- Assisting the Project Manager in preparing schedules, monitor the construction schedule and constructability reviews.
- Assists in managing subcontractor relationships and soliciting bids.
- Assist the Project Manager in creating and implementing site logistics plans.
- Prepare daily reports including a record of material deliveries, subcontractor’s manpower, safety and construction issues.
- Oversee support functions including temporary utilities and toilets, trash removal, laborers, safety precautions and job site security.
- Conduct weekly jobsite meetings to address scheduling, coordination and safety issues.
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to coordinate diverse activities, set timelines, budgets and specifications.
- Ability to Read, Interpret and understand Architectural Drawings and specification documents to insure design intent is maintained.
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
- Exceptional time and man management skills.
- Ability to use computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office, to share, retrieve, research and present business information.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data, and to identify relevant issues in solving problems.
Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years plus of relevant commercial field superintendent experience, with project greater than $2 million in value.
- College Education Preferred
- OSHA, First Aid, CPR, Forklift, and Aerial Work Platform Training a plus
- Experience with PROCORE or relevant Construction Management Software.
