Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. is seeking senior-level water/wastewater process engineers with technical and management experience. Opportunities are available at corporate headquarters and all of our regional office locations. Consideration of hybrid or full-time remote work options will be considered for qualified candidate(s).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work will encompass all phases of municipal water/wastewater treatment process design including conceptual and feasibility evaluations, preparation of design reports, development of contract documents, bidding assistance, and support of construction engineering services.
In addition to treatment process design, ideal candidates will have hydraulic engineering experience with the planning and design of pump stations, collection systems, and distribution systems.
The ideal candidate will serve as a production-level project manager assisting in project budget and work plan development and implementation.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or Similar Discipline (M.S. or Ph.D. is a plus).
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.). If necessary, must be able to obtain reciprocity in Indiana or Kentucky.
- Senior-level water resource engineering, technical, and management experience is required.
- Ability to multi-task and direct/mentor E.I.s and younger staff is required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
COMPENSATION
Example base salary ranges listed below (commensurate with expertise/ability/years with P.E. license), plus annual performance bonus and additional incentive pay for each hour worked in excess of the 40-hour schedule.
- P.E. licensure 10-15 years: $120,000 to $130,000
- P.E. licensure 15-20 years: $130,000 to $150,000
- P.E. licensure 20+ years: $150,000 to $180,000
