Why this job – EXPERIENCED TAX PROFESSIONAL:
Exciting opportunity to join a thriving organization that is expanding its team with an Experienced Tax Professional. In this role, you’ll prepare federal and state annual tax filings, manage quarterly and year-end tax estimates, and create projections for various US partnerships, S-Corps, and individual tax returns. Additionally, you’ll be involved in tax planning and consulting and have the opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to your client. Join a small, highly collaborative, enjoyable team as they grow.
What You’ll Actually Do:
- Prepare and file various tax returns, including individual, corporate, and partnership returns to include the following tax forms: 1120S, 1065, 1040, 1041, 990 and 709
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance
- Compile state returns for Colorado and multi-state filings
- Organize and prepare tax projections estimates, assist with tax planning and various special projects
- Prepare and participate in client calls
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of public tax accounting experience
- EA, CPA or CPA in progress
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Lacerte, TaxCaddy, and/or SurePrep software experience preferred
Where and How Much:
- Target Compensation $80K to $100K DOE + 10% Bonus
- $6,150 for health insurance premium reimbursement (QSEHRA max)
- $3,000 HSA employer match | 15 Days PTO | 401K w/3% Match
- 4-day work weeks from Memorial Day to Labor Day (14 Fridays extra PTO!)
- Office shut down during the week of Thanksgiving
