Veneta Cucine is a high-end showroom that sells 100% Made in Italy furniture (kitchens, baths, closets and interior doors).
We are currently looking for a full-time Kitchen Designer for our showroom in Coral Gables FL. Designers get paid a base salary along with a generous commission which is paid on all the jobs sold.
Qualifications include:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of kitchen and bath design (Preferred).
- MUST KNOW how to read Architectural Plans.
- Have basic knowledge of cabinets, countertops, backsplash and plumbing fixtures (Preferred).
- Prior industry experience is highly preferred.
- Fluent in English & Spanish.
- Proficient in AUTOCAD software.
Job Duties Include:
- Consult with customers to determine project requirements, specifications and cost both by appointment and on a walk-in basis.
- Design kitchen layouts with our 3D Cad software, as requested by customers from blueprints or sketches.
- Assist with daily calls and provide assistance/orientation to new clients in the showroom.
- Prepare quotes and proposals for residential clients.
- Keep a clear record of communications with clients.
