Looking for degreed (BS/MS, BSEE or MSEE preferred) engineer with experience in sales or a desire to work in sales. The candidate must have some knowledge in RF Electronics to effectively communicate with engineers and scientists about RF and Microwave components. If no degree, the candidate must have worked as a technician in RF Electronics with a desire for sales.

Description

• The Field Sales Engineer lives in the Raleigh/Durham, NC, Greensboro or surrounding areas and covers the territory of North and South Carolina.

Typical duties include:

• Setting up meetings with customers, visiting customers and introduce them to a range of RF components and services. Handling the follow up from customers
• Be a trusted advisor to the customers, provide recommendations and help them in parts selection etc.
• Almost all customers are engineers, which requires some technical knowledge to effectively communicate with them.

Requirements

• A BSEE or MSEE is ideal as well as some level of work experience as design or test engineer, in RF electronics. Experience in sales and marketing as an applications engineer or product manager would be a great plus.
• Fundamental understanding of RF is necessary. The candidate has to have basic understanding, what return loss, insertion loss, harmonics, dB, dBm, P1dB, IMD, gain, mixer, noise figure, S-Parameters,.. are.
• This position requires an individual that is a self motivated and a self starter.
• The ideal candidate lives in the Raleigh/Durham area, Greensboro or surrounding areas. He/she works out of his/her home and contacts and visits customers in North and South Carolina.
• Relocation to the Raleigh/Durham area will not be offered. The individual shall be rooted in the area and possibly know some of the customers.
• Must be a US citizen

Compensation

• The compensation package includes a base salary in the range from $80K plus commission.
