Canadian Natural is looking for a Cloud Analyst to join our Information Systems Cloud and Communications team. Reporting to the Cloud & Communications Lead, you will be responsible for the delivery and sustainment of Canadian Natural’s modern communication, productivity and cloud services, including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Jabber and WebEx, focusing on Microsoft 365.

  • Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver and maintain cloud tenant environments and operations: Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS
  • Deliver and maintain managed communications and productivity services including calling, chat/messaging, audio/video conferencing, email and office productivity across on-premises and cloud service components
  • Ensure the availability, scalability and security of services and systems
  • Contribute to the planning, execution and delivery of projects, ensuring they deliver required capabilities
  • Identify opportunities and implement alerting and automation to reduce operational burden
  • Analyze telemetry data to identify patterns and trends to drive continuous improvement
  • Review and perform regular audits and access reviews
  • Coordinate with other support teams and vendors on incident, problem, change and release management
  • Maintain documentation of services configuration, support processes and knowledge base
  • On-call: Participate in service team on-call rotation

What You Bring to the Role:

  • 10+ years of technology industry experience with at least 3-years administering Microsoft 365, communication, productivity, cloud infrastructure and cloud backup services
  • Strong technical knowledge of public – cloud service models, modern communication and productivity services (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS)
  • Provides advanced level of support for troubleshooting core system infrastructure availability and performance
  • Skilled in cloud security principles and best practices
  • Microsoft Certification in Microsoft 365, Administrator, Identity and Access Management Administrator, Exchange Online, and Teams preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application Microsoft 365 security policies
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of Entra AD and Active Directory services
  • Expert level in powershell queries and scripting on both on-prem and Azure Cloud
  • Experience setting up third party backup solutions for M365
  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework and use to deliver excellent IS and customer service
  • Proven and effective technical writing and presentation skills
  • Detailed experience as a technical lead on large enterprise migration projects (5000+ users)
