Meta is seeking a Visiting Professor to join its Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) organization, focused on making significant advances in out-of-distribution generalization of foundation models. We publish groundbreaking papers and release frameworks/libraries that are widely used in the open-source community. Recent examples include the LLaMa family of Large Language Models (LLMs) and tool-augmented language models.

We seek experts in the area of out-of-distribution generalization to help understand the generalization capabilities of modern AI systems and build new architectures and frameworks that achieve the next frontier of generalization.
